Google's Dolphin Has Escaped From Its Tank

Google's Fast Flip, which usually appears at the bottom of the Google News page, was broken when we checked the news tonight. This is the rather cute message we got instead:

It reads: "Unfortunately it appears our dolphin has escaped from its tank, causing our server to get confused.
If you come back a little later everything should hopefully be back to normal."

Sure enough, a little later everything was back to normal. Does this mean Google's dolphin is back in its tank?
