Red Hook Movies in the Parks

Red Hook Movies sent us the schedule for the second annual Red Hook-based film series "Red Hook Movies In The Parks," sponsored by a large number of excellent Brooklyn organizations. The series takes place every Thursday evening, from July 12 to August 16, free of charge.

July 19: Happy Feet [at Coffey Park]
July 26: Mad Hot Ballroom [at Red Hook Community Farm]
Aug. 2: Kung Fu Hustle [at Valentino Pier]
Aug. 9: Akeelah and the Bee [at Coffey Park]
Aug. 16: When We Were Kings[at Red Hook Community Farm]

Each feature film screening will be preceded by short films, including works from Hook Productions, a non-profit group that offers film and media instruction to Brooklyn youth.
