Developers of residential buildings in Dumbo say they’re responsible for creating the super-hot neighborhood in the first place. Now, resigned to the “inevitability” of 65 buildings being landmarked, they called on the city Landmarks Preservation Commission Tuesday to pair the landmarking with a rezoning that could allow for high-rise residential development on other DUMBO properties.
