Actually the are Canada Geese. You were close but for some reason they aren't Canadian, just Canada. My grandmother was a real stickler about this...
They are indeed "Canada Geese", though probably not "Canadian Geese". There is a resident population in BBPark that doesn't seem to migrate. Global warming + easy access to handouts = year-round resident geese.
Didn't you notice the hockey sticks and winter headgear? Eh?
