FreshDirect trucks are usually big diesel jobbies. So we were surprised to see this diminutive FreshDirect van parked down in Dumbo the other day.
We can't find any mention of this switch to vans anywhere, though Biodiesel Magazine says that FreshDirect has switched to biodiesel.
We're not Fresh Direct customers -- anybody know if this is a common mode of delivery for FD?

ReplyDeletei like fd, but i wish they wouldnt idle their trucks, they're loud and pollute their customers
ReplyDeletein ditmas park they still deliver in the huge loud trucks - they are refrigerated so i am guessing they can't turn them off for that reason
