Red Hook Cops and Teens Work Together: It's a Riot!

The Police-Teen Theater Project presents two showings of its newest production, Riot Act! The performances will include both improvised and scripted material, all generated by the Project’s teen and police officer participants -- working together to put on a show. Both shows are free and open to the public.

Riot Act has been called: "... a night of hilarious, moving, and totally unpredictable theater."

The first performance takes place Wednesday, June 4^th, at 7 pm, at P.S. 27 in Red Hook (27 Huntington Street, at Columbia Street). The second performance is on Friday, June 6^th, at 7 pm, at the BRIC Studio (647 Fulton Street at Rockwell Place).

The Police Teen Theater Program is a project of the Red Hook Community Justice Center and Falconworks Artists Group. The goals of the Police Teen Theater Program include increasing trust and respect between local police and teens, and debunking the negative stereotypes of these groups in the community.
