All we can tell you is that New York City has licensed a fireworks permit to the "Association of Indians in America" for tonight's fireworks, seen and heard from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
They were set off at South Street Seaport, Pier 15, starting at 7:15 p.m.

Not sure what that was all about but just got in (8pm) via the BQE and it was a really nice surprise to see all these lovely fireworks taking place so entirely unexpectedly! Had quite a perfect view of them too! Big, bright, colourful.... they should have random fireworks all over The City more often :)
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is the timing was great! I was bringing my date to dinner at a place on the hudson river, jersey side, and we had a nice view!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know what all the fireworks are for??
