No, not really. But when we came out of the St. George subway station last night and saw this gaily colored food cart on Henry Street, it put us in mind of a Gypsy wagon.So we visited Wikipedia to see what Gypsy wagons really looked like.
It seems that Gypsy wagons can be beautiful, like this Reading style of traditional Romanichal "Vardo" (wagon), built in the late 19th Century.
According to Wikipedia, the wagons "are prized for their practicality as well as aesthetic design and beauty. "
No resemblance to the food cart above. Our apologies, Romani.
