'Saints' Visit St. Francis College, Brooklyn Heights

Artist Francis Cunningham's "Saints" is on display at St. Francis College -- 180 Remsen St, Brooklyn Heights -- through March 26.

His portrait of St. Bernadette, shown partially above, is one of several stark and enigmatic figure paintings.

Cunningham, who taught art for many years at the Brooklyn Museum, is a co-founder of the New York Academy of Art.
