Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 6 Cam is Recording Whole Construction Process

 Check out the live view from the OxBlue construction cam pointed at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 6. (Thanks to Curbed and NYC the Blog for this link.) Here you can watch the playground going up in this section of the park, scheduled to open on or close to June 1-- or you can dial up a time-lapse player and watch it being built from scratch.

According to the Brooklyn Eagle, the playground will contain the "largest sandbox” in the city. There will also be giant slides that will carry children into the sandbox (and adults who will want to see the view from the tops of the slides).
