Well We Liked the Chicken at Tio Pio

The reviews on Yelp have been kind of meh, but we had the chicken/rice/bean dish at TioPio on Court Street (State and Schermerhorn) in Downtown Brooklyn yesterday and found the rotisserie chicken to be moist and the service courteous.

To enjoy Tio Pio, don't expect artisanal anything; this is a big deli with a Latin theme. The menu is huge (and they serve a reasonable breakfast, too.). You can get fried plantains and pico de gallo with your rice, chicken and beans. The green sauce will make your eyes water.

Or, you can just get a wrap. The place is filling up at lunchtime.
