Jane Walentas restored the historic 1922 carousel made by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company over the course of two decades.The Walentas family is donating the carousel to the park.

I do not look forward to the expense that this will cause for upkeep down the road. Maybe the Waltentas family should bequeath a life time fund for it not the people of New York.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I understand, other than the $2 to ride the Carousel, no cost will be on the citizens of New York. I think the Walentas family is not only donating the Carousel but will also be upkeeping it.
