Dorje Ling Buddhist Center, Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn

You may have seen a bright yellow building at 98 Gold Street in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn, and wondered what it was.It is a Tibetian Buddhism center. It's called the Dorje Ling Buddhist Center, and they teach the Jonang version of Buddhism.

They fly a profusion of prayer flags.

From their website:
"In Tibetan Buddhism the viewpoint of emptiness is divided into two: self-emptiness and other-emptiness. Most Tibetan Buddhist scholars follow the viewpoint of self-emptiness.
However, from Master Dolpopa to Taranatha to the very present day, the followers of Jonang hold the philosophical viewpoint of other-emptiness."
