Dancing In the Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn

While the professional dancers were inside at BAM's (Brooklyn Academy of Music) DanceAfrica in Fort Greene, the streets outside were packed with everyday dancers this weekend. Traditional music played, the sun was hot as hell and spirits were high.


DanceAfrica took place all Memorial Day weekend, with dance, music, film, and a huge outdoor bazaar of African crafts, food, and clothing.
