Solar Blast Hits the Earth

According to the Wall Street Journal and Reuters, the blasts could disrupt electrical grids, global-positioning systems or other satellite-communications systems for the next few days. Government scientists urge users of satellite, telecommunications and electric equipment to prepare for possible disruptions over the next few days.
