If you see a oddly cute stuffed gargoyle peeking out at you in Empire State Park (the northern section of Brooklyn Bridge Park) then you're in the right place to see "World In Pieces," presented by Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC).
According to BWAC, the pieces in “World in Pieces” explore "the various ways in which different cultures are both melding and becoming more distinct."
Featured artists: Lisa Beckner (who created "Gargoyle," above), Richard Brachman, Eimont Bronzini, Miggy Buck (who created "G8," below), Ursula Clark, Matt Johnson, Maximilian Pelzman, Michael Post, Michael Ritchie, Sharon Rozsay, and Tyrome Tripoli.
The exhibition will run through September 15th. More here.
