Video: Mayor Bill de Blasio Swears in at Midnight in Brooklyn
Bill de Blasio was sworn in as 109th Mayor of the City of New York by NY State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, at the Mayor's home in Park Slope at 12:01 a.m. early Wednesday morning .
Former president Bill Clinton will formally swear de Blasio in again at City Hall Wednesday at noon.
On Tuesday, de Blasio made five more key appointments: Gilbert Taylor will serve as Commissioner of Homeless Services; Polly Trottenberg will serve as the Transportation Commissioner; Bob Linn will serve as the Director of Labor Relations; Stanley Brezenoff will serve as an unpaid Special Adviser to the First Deputy Mayor; and Kyle Kimball will continue to serve as the President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
On Monday, de Blasio chose Brooklyn's own Carmen Farina as Schools Chancellor.
