DOH Says No Confirmed Cases of Enterovirus D-68 in NYC Yet

A panic in Borough Park about enterovirus D-68 is unfounded so far, the NYC Dept. of Health told the Brooklyn Eagle on Monday.

The respiratory disease, which hits kids with asthma the hardest, hit upstate NY recently -- but so far no confirmed cases have been found in Brooklyn.

The Health Department is monitoring the situation, DOH told the Eagle.
