$100,000 in a Box at Brooklyn Borough Hall

So someone sealed $100,000 inside a clear plastic box and mounted it on a pedestal near Brooklyn Borough Hall.

Needless to say, it caused quite a stir.

"Damn, I could use some of that," one guy said.

Our sentiments exactly.

Was it art? A political statement? The Brooklyn Eagle did a little research, and came up with an explanation.
