It was only 94 or so yesterday . . . today it's shooting up to 98. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory, an Air Quality Alert and a Hazardous Weather Outlook for today (Thursday). There will be widespread haze after 11 a.m., and it will be sunny and hot.
It should be getting better Friday . . .
