Is Brooklyn Bridge Park for wimps? Seems like everything is prohibited nowadays.
We used to barbecue under the Brooklyn Bridge but now it's fenced off. National security.
Right, just don't run on the grass, Fido.
Don't. Sit. On. The. Rocks.
Okay, we can buy this.
Not sure we'd want to swim here but ...
Oh my nanny state!

why is it two different parks? dogs ok on path only in one, no dogs at all in the other
ReplyDeleteThere should be a dog hunting season around parks as well, to cull the herd...
ReplyDeletebut perhaps in the interests of public safety, no bow or gun hunting, only snare traps.
It's actually three parks, the city park to the north, the state park in the middle, and the as-yet-to-be-"built" semi-private semi-public Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corporation owned park running along the piers. With its own set of rules, I'm sure.
