Carrying on the tradition started by her legendary father Joseph Ades -- the man who could sell anything, but especially vegetable peelers -- Ruth Ades-Laurent sells peelers at the same New York City farmer's markets and shopping districts her dad did.
Mr. Ades died last February. (Heaven must be full of peelers by now.)Spouting the same bold sing-song patter as Ades-senior, Ms. Ades-Laurent was in business Tuesday at the Brooklyn Borough Hall Farmer's Market.
