Brooklyn Friends School Winter Festival 2011

We got a lot of Christmas shopping accomplished at Brooklyn Friends School’s Winter Festival /craft fair on Saturday, and it was all for a good cause.

The Downtown Brooklyn school throws a whale of a carnival / shopping extravaganza with an emphasis on hand-made, sustainable, unusual and high quality. The kids had their bouncy rides and were also rocking out with a DJ in the auditorium

The money raised goes to benefit the Horizons at Brooklyn Friends School summer enrichment program for public school children in Downtown Brooklyn.
