This will be the 36th year for the sweet little Cranberry Street Fair in Brooklyn Heights. The non-commercial festival takes place Sunday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the west end of Cranberry Street in the north Heights.

The fair was started by (96-year-old) Richanda Rhoden and the Cranberry Street Association, which she and her husband John founded.

Entertainment will be provided by jazz performer Eric Loffswold and The Manhattan Tribal Belly Dancers. Other attractions include a cranberry bake-off, belly-dancing lessons, yoga, a fire engine visit, kids gaames, a book sale and a "treasures" sale, the fabulous pet parade and one or two fortune tellers.Local businessses supply food and drink, and prizes for the raffle.

Come a little early to help set up, or bring some nice treasure to sell.
