On Oct. 5, bring your animals (even stuffed animals) to the
St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals event at the St. Ann's Church garden in Brooklyn Heights at 1:30 p.m.
The event celebrates the feast of St. Francis of Assissi, patron saint of animals.
