The National Weather Service says the approaching winter storm will bring bring a mixture of snow, sleet and ice to Brooklyn and other parts of New York City overnight, starting with 1 - 2 inches of snow in Tuesday's early a.m., followed by freezing rain, then cold and miserable rain around rush hour, causing hazardous driving conditions, slushy, dirty puddles, sopping coats and hats and general misery.
A high of 41 F is expected Tuesday.
Tuesday night brings a chance of rain, more misery.
