It's Organ Donor Day at Brooklyn Borough Hall

Tuesday is the first annual Organ Donor Day in New York, and you can sign up to be an organ donor at Brooklyn Borough Hall, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The statewide push is sponsored by LiveOnNY, a non-profit organ procurement organization.

Why are they doing this? Because our state SUCKS in terms of organ donation: New York is 50th out of 50 states in the percentage of residents enrolled as organ donors.
