Bubby's Pie Company on Main Street in Dumbo -- voted one of New York's Best Family Restaurants for 2006 -- was shut down today by the Board of Health. A woman who answered our call to the Manhattan office said she didn't know why the restaurant was closed, but assured us they'd reopen by Saturday. (UPDATE: A correspondent writes that Bubby's reopened Sunday with a clean bill of health.)

Called Saturday. Their phone seems to be disconnected...
We called again Sunday night. The phone worked but we only got a recording.
