In spite of Weather Underground's prediction of a total washout, the Cranberry Street Fair in Brooklyn Heights once again produced a Saturday's worth of fun (until the 3 p.m. downpour).
Treasures were found on every table, and merchants donated all kinds of products and services for the raffle.
Luis Manuel and Friends provided live music.
The Manhattan Tribal Belly Dancers provided exotic and graceful whirling, and gave dancing lessons to the crowd.
Kids and their parents tried their hand at belly dancing, ate cupcakes, found affordable toys and played carnival games.
(Attempting the belly dancing hand movements.)
Congratulations to the Cranberry Street Association (and central planner Richonda Rhoden) for another successful fair.
