Business leaders, residents and lawmakers are nearing a compromise to limit the number of noisy helicopters that give such a headache to people on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and the new Brooklyn Bridge Park.
According to WPIX, the EDC expects to announce its plan to restrict helicopter flights in a matter of weeks.
But don't get all happy yet: a new company has plans to launch a new helicopter airline in 2010.
