We Got Us a Verizon Powertrusion Right Here in Brooklyn Heights

It's a Verizon Powertrusion, all right. A Class 5, 25-foot model.

It showed up on Cranberry Street the other day, all 229 pounds of it.

They cemented the dang thing into the sidewalk right next to the playground.

Yes sir, a real Verizon Powertrusion. Who knows what the heck is coming to Brooklyn Heights next?

UPDATE: See what happened to it two years later!

That pole has been up for a year or so. Maybe they re-cemented it after laying the FiOS cables down Cranberry Street a few weeks ago.

Think they put in some new thing-a-ma-jig on the bottom. No wires on it. Looks like a new cement job, and not a very good one.

Yes, it's been there for a little while now, the ugly thing.
