The Con Edison Storm Center reports a number of scattered power outages in Brooklyn and Queens as of 10 p.m. Tuesday night. (May 29, 2012)

In Brooklyn, 27 sites have outages, affecting 163 customers (a customer can be a whole building). In South Williamsburg alone, 76 customers are experiencing a partial outage. (Repairs there are expected by 3 p.m. Wednesday.)
In Queens, 15 sites have power outages, affecting 159 customers.
In addition, about 130 customers in Manhattan are suffering from "burning wires."
UPDATE: By 1 a.m. Wednesday, most of the Queens' power problems are under control. The power outages remain in Brooklyn, however.
UPDATE: By Thursday, May 31 at 10 p.m., 60 Brooklynites were without power. Con-Ed expects all to have power restored by 4 a.m. Friday morning.
