Work Continues on Brooklyn Judges Parking Lot

Pedestrians are still locked out of the main thoroughfare of Brooklyn Borough Hall's Columbus Park, which is being used by judges for parking while the lot next to the Supreme Court building (pictured above) is being renovated.

Back in early October the city gave Columbus Park's Rose Walkway to the judges so the poor dears wouldn't have to walk the whole block to their taxpayer-financed indoor parking lot in the basement of the new courthouse a block north of the Supreme Court (just out of sight behind the statue in the photo below).

From morning till about 7 p.m., armed guards stand behind fences erected in the Rose Walkway, guarding judges' cars.
