Mayor Bloomberg's announcement that a huge bioscience center is coming to the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park means that roughly 1,000 jobs will be coming to this part of Brooklyn. One biotech company, Apath, has announced its intentions to expand and relocate to the site when finished, sometime in 2011.
