Here's an unsettling statistic, just unveiled by the Brooklyn Eagle: Statistics show that nearly a quarter of the strangulation arrests across the state happen in Brooklyn.
Of 2,000 people have been charged with strangulation since last fall, 467 of them have been in Brooklyn, which far exceeds the number of arrests in any other county.
