McBrooklyn! This is Cindy from Turnstile Tours, the company that offers public tours of the Brooklyn Navy Yard on behalf of the Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG 92. Thanks for the shout-out on your blog for this weekend's activities at the Yard, however I'm afraid the listing of events you referenced is from last year (2012), not this year. This year, the following will be happening: BLDG 92's exhibits and Ted & Honey Cafe at BLDG 92 will be open from 12-6PM on both Satuday and Sunday. As for tour offerings, Saturday, May 25th: World War II Tour of the Brooklyn Navy Yard from 11AM-1PM and an Overview Tour of the Brooklyn Navy Yard from 2:30-4:30PM. On Sunday, May 26th, there will be a Sustainability Bicycle Tour from 12-2PM (bicycles not included - see website for details) and an Overview Tour of the Brooklyn Navy Yard from 2:30-4:30PM. Since there is limited space on all of our tours and they do sell out, we highly recommend folks buy their tickets for the tours on advance via our website or by phone (347) 903-8687. Please let us know if you have any questions! Please see our website at www.turnstiletours.com/brooklynnavyyard/ or visit BLDG 92's webpage at http://bldg92.org/events/ for the most updated listings.
