"This is a prayer walk to end violence that takes place in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn...." said Councilmember Laurie A. Cumbo in a release.
"With each step, we will honor those who have lost their lives to gun violence and pray for those whose lives have been forever altered by the loss or injury of a loved one."
