Racial Slur Shocks Brooklyn Surrogate Court



Racist graffiti scrawled in an elevator inside Brooklyn Surrogate Court called Diana Johnson, the first black judge elected to Surrogate's Court in New York state, a "dumb n___."

"This is inside baseball," said state Sen. Eric Adams, an ex-cop and former head of 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement. "Someone who wrote that, I guarantee you, graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in this nation." Daily News

There are surveillance cameras inside Brooklyn Surrogate Court, but police are not yet revealing what they show.
