It was late night in Brooklyn
And all through the borough
Not a creature was stirring
Except for Williamsburg, Smith Street and Dumbo.
When along came a cop car
With it's red lights a whirring
"Ho ho ho!" came a cry
And it set our hearts stirring.
There was Santa riding shotgun
Heading east towards Bed-Stuy
"Merry Christmas" he yelled
To a shocked homeless guy
We ran out to the street (Tillary)
To see such a sight
"Watch out for the cars," he said
"And to all a good night!"
