Easter Egg Hunts and Spring Flings in Brooklyn. UPDATE: Pierrepont Brooklyn Heights Egg Hunt Moved to Sunday Because of Rain

Tomorrow (Saturday -- UPDATE: and Sunday) is the time to gather the kids and the baskets and head to parks around Brooklyn for Easter egg hunts and spring celebrations.

UPDATE: The Pierrepont Playground Spring Egg Hunt will take place Sunday because of predictions of rain!

The Pierrepont Playground Spring Egg Hunt in Brooklyn Heights takes place at 10 a.m. sharp. (That means sharp!) Candy, treats and balloons and a bake sale are part of the event.

DUMBO Spring Fling at Brooklyn Bridge Park runs from 10:30 a.m.– 1 p.m.on Saturday, rain or shine. The sixth Annual Spring Fling features Easter Bunny, AudraRox!, Butterfly Boogie with the Wildlife Theater Company. Brooklyn birdwatcher Carolyn Murphy, an egg toss, egg roll, duck race and much more.

More egg hunts and Easter events take place in Crowns Heights, Brownsville, Red Hook, Prospect Park, and McKinley Park. For details see Brooklyn Eagle.
