LICH employees, from the nurses to the cleaning staff, are being terminated.
Community members who have fought with healthcare workers to save the hospital for almost two years will be gathering at 8 a.m. Friday to salute the last shift of nurses when they leave.
All are welcome to join the salute.

It was a sad day at the "hospital" today -- of course, the wonderful LICH staff behaved with the courage and dignity they have shown throughout this nearly 2-year-old ordeal. The community was there to show our appreciation and we still stand with LICH. LICH forever.
