The budget agreed upon late Wednesday by Mayor Bill de Blasio and the City Council allocates $100,000,000 for the acquisition of the CitiStorage parcels to complete Bushwick Inlet Park on the East River, the Brooklyn Eagle reports.

Councilmember Stephen Levin said in a release Thursday that the Williamsburg and Greenpoint communities "are beyond overjoyed." with the news.
