Long Lines for 'Avengers' in Brooklyn

Line for 'The Avengers' at Cobble Hill Cinemas this Saturday. By MK Metz
Like many other Brooklynites, we went to see "The Avengers" on Saturday. Good thing we bought our tickets in advance -- most showings were sold out, and we hear that the film took in more than $200 million over the weekend, smashing the record set by “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2."

We saw "The Avengers" at  Cobble Hill Cinemas because it was less of a madhouse than UA Court Street Stadium in Downtown Brooklyn, PLUS the cost of a 3D film at Cobble Hill is only $12 for adults! (3D tickets are $17 at UA Court Street Stadium.)

If you haven't seen the movie yet, make sure to sit through the entire after-movie credits. (You'll be rewarded with two added scenes.)
