A giant Batman jumpy-castle, a self-guided architecture tour, kids games and face-painting, music and tables full of goodies were just some of the activities at Saturday's Willowtown Fair.
Iris Café and Yogo Yogurt provided lunch and snacks, and a plant sale was held by the local garden.
Willowtown is a shady little sub-neighborhood in Brooklyn Heights, running between the west ends of Joralemon Street and Atlantic Avenue, from Hicks to Furman Street.
The annual fair raises money for the Willowtown Association. Tree planting is one of the projects supported by the fair.
New trees have been planted on Columbia Place and along the Palmetto Playground on State Street.
Two of the trees were dedicated in memory of Willowtown residents Caroline Palestino and Mary Merz, who died last year.
The Brooklyn Heights Blog has posted a video of a kids sack race at the fair.
