Brooklyn Judge Receives Death Threats

Brooklyn Surrogate Court Judge Diana Johnson, the first black judge elected to Surrogate's Court in New York state, has received a letter threatening both her and her son.

"It's disheartening that folks go to these lengths, when all you're doing is your job," she said.

In January, racist graffiti scrawled in an elevator inside Brooklyn Surrogate Court called her a "dumb n___."
