Brooklyn Bridge Waterfront Park to open June 26

The Brooklyn Eagle reports: A pop-up park of more than half an acre, is being created for the summer by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corporation.

Marianna Koval, president of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, surprised the crowd with the news at the Community Board 2 meeting last night.

The new park will have waterfall views, a sand beach and a food concession.

this is a smokescreen for massive incompetance at best, major fraud and pocketing of public funds at worst...let me guess, they'll serve some cake too!

and why is this a conservancy announcement not a bbpdc thing? Staying away from the angry masses?

oh well, move along.
