Trader Joe's Expands Hours in Brooklyn

We've been saying this ever since Trader Joe's opened in Brooklyn: "Why don't they open earlier?"

Now, as if by wizardry, a sign appears: Trader Joe's is now open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Their old hours were 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.) Yay! We can get the shopping done in the morning now.

Some previous Trader Joe's posts.

That's kind of random. 9-9 is when TJs are open wherever they are. It's so easy to remember. I wonder if they've changed to 8-10 all over.

The change is store-wide. - TJ's employee

I lOVE trader joe's but this is the most inconvenient location ever..except if u live in Cobble Hill. IM in Fort Greene and I have to walk to Atlantic train station or take a bus on Fulton then WALK five blocks from Court and Fulton to the TJ then WALK back even further if I want to take the bus...jeez. I really love u guys but I have to take a deep breath everytime IM leaving home to go there! Atlantic Mall or even on Remsen somewhere close to the trains would have made more sense - especially when carrying two heavy bags. and WHERE is the wine store for bk?? y'all woudl make a killing here!

ny state law only allows for one liquor license per business, so union square will be the only one unless the antiquated laws are changed.
