It seems early for Chanukah to be over -- but yesterday a crane airlifted the giant Menorah set up at Brooklyn Borough Hall Plaza and trucked it away.
This year the official Chanukah celebration took place on December 3, when Borough President Marty Markowitz joined quite a crowd to preside over the festivities and give out Chanukah gelt to the kids. (The web site Crown Heights.info has dozens of photos of the event.)
Now the question is, where do giant Menorahs live when it's not Chanukah?
