Brooklyn Eagle: Moviegoers poured out of the UA Court Street Cinema in Downtown Brooklyn this afternoon, coughing and wheezing after escaping a fire.
Ten people were injured due to smoke inhalation. Three of the injuries were deemed serious, according to the Brooklyn Eagle.

If it started in the popcorn machine, as the article mentions, that would be similar to the way that Gristede's caught fire in Brooklyn Heights. The fire dept. did a great job -- it could have been much worse.
