Brooklyn Kindergartens and 'The Boa Constrictor Problem'

Not only are certain Brooklyn neighborhoods baby magnets, but it seems a virtual tsunami of young'uns were born across the country peaking in 2007, creating a baby boomlet and a "bulge" of 5-year-olds that schools will have to deal with next year and every year thereafter as they work their way through the grades, like a goat working its way through a boa constrictor.
